Ezoic Breakout Brand Certification
The Breakout Brand Certification is an Ezoic feature designed to acknowledge website growth. It comes with a badge that you can see in your Ezoic dashboard or display on your website.
The Good: The Ezoic Breakout Brand Certification comes with a cool badge. Even cooler, there are two ways of having Ezoic automatically display your badge.
The Bad: There are no other perks to receiving the Ezoic Breakout Brand Certification.
I waited until I had just about 10k visitors in one month before signing up for Ezoic.
I signed up for the Access Now program – you can read my full review of Access Now here. It took one month to advance from Access Now to Level 1.
A few days after advancing to Level 1, I received notification from Ezoic that I had earned the Breakout Brand Certification.
I had no idea what this meant and information about the Breakout Brand Certification was hard to come by. I wondered if other Ezoic users have had similar experiences.
What is the Ezoic Breakout Brand Certification?
The Breakout Brand Certification is an Ezoic Certification. Like other certifications, it is designed to recognize and encourage growth and loyalty to Ezoic. It comes with a badge that you can see in your Ezoic dashboard. As a recipient, you are also authorized to display the badge on your website. Ezoic actually gives you two options to automatically display your badges.
It comes with a badge that you can see in your dashboard on your dashboard. Ezoic also emailed me some official badges that I can use the badge on my website.
Here’s one of the coolest things about Ezoic badges: there are two ways to have your badges automatically displayed for you.
You can use either the Ezoic Chrome Extension Tool or a small snippet of code.
To use the code, you can just insert a div element at the appropriate spot in your html, i.e.:

My Ezoic Breakout Brand Story
It was an ordinary winter morning. The air was cold but the clear blue sky allowed a blinding amount sunshine to penetrate the windows.
I logged on to Ezoic to check my website stats, and saw the following page:
Apparently my website was being recognized for showing ‘significant growth’. Wow. I could feel the rush of heat and positivity one gets after being acknowledged in some small way.
Ezoic has pretty good gamification, I thought. But I wanted to know more about the ‘certification’. Like what it actually is, why I got it, if there were perks, etc.
Unfortunately the details on the Ezoic website are sparing. The Breakout Brand Certification doesn’t have its’ own page, only a short description:
“Have you leveled-up with Ezoic? If so, your site is a “Breakout Brand” that has shown significant growth with Ezoic. “
Using my extraordinary reading comprehension capabilities, I was able to hypothesize the following:
The Breakout Brand Certification is given to websites that level up.
This makes sense, because I had only just progressed from the Access Now program to Level 1. Like other Ezoic certifications, this one is designed to recognize growth and encourage brand loyalty.
Unfortunately from what I can tell, there are no additional perks other than being able to display the Breakout Brand Certification badge.
Okay…this wasn’t a life changing certification or acknowledgement of some huge accomplishment.
But everything counts, right?
