This opportunity offers the chance to work with some of the most advanced technology in the industry, alongside some of the brightest minds in the field.
As a Senior Electronic Design Engineer, you will be tasked with developing digital and RF electronics solutions using state-of-the-art technology in both commercial and military domains. This is not your typical role; it’s an opportunity to join a team of passionate designers who are dedicated to delivering innovative and cutting-edge solutions.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include applying your knowledge and experience in electronic design to see projects through to successful completion. You will also have the chance to make a significant impact on UK security and military operations and interact with these customers. Further, you will be part of the Electronic Design Group that provides skilled staff into all QinetiQ UK businesses, offering opportunities for career progression.
This full-time role requires you to work primarily on-site at our Malvern facility, with some flexibility for adaptive working. Key skills include hands-on experience in developing analogue, high-speed digital, and RF design, knowledge of electronic standards and their applicability in hardware design, and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all appropriate levels within the organisation and externally with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
To qualify for this role, a degree in Electronics and/or Engineering is desirable. The successful candidate must also hold or have the ability to gain SC clearance as a minimum, with further eligibility for enhanced clearance also required.
